no its not the white house its the united states capital building across from reflecting pool…and yes i no that reflecting pool is across from lincoln memorial, this is a different reflecting pool…and as for the blurred images, as im sure a bunch of u no, im just clearing it up 4 every1 else, are just flaws in the satalite image, how many people have a camera that can do about 100,000 times zoom without gettin a little pixelization flaws everyonce and a while…
and as for the photo editing and the a few other image defect a few people might have noticed, i am pretty sure that google either cant, or doesnt want to get in trouble for, zooming in on government buildings and military instalations, u may have noticed, for example, that you cant zoom in past about a mile or so (my estimation im no expert at telling sat image hight…) in on area 51…im sure if u look around ull find a few instances of this…
and finally, and i dont mean any offence by this or not, but i hope that you were joking when u said u couldnt find area 51…only reason im mentioning it is cuz at first i thought u wernt…and again if u really couldnt im sorry…in more ways than one

I think the “Iowa Class BB in Philly” one is not correct. There’s an Iowa Class BB right across the river in Camden, NJ (the USS NJ) and at full zoom, it’s obviously larger than the one linked to above.

I was looking the EASTER ISLAND images and noticed formations in the ocean, just off the coast…about 200 miles or so, but when I tried to ZOOM in, I was given a message that pretty much made it clear that I could not zoom in.
This is fascinating, because there are protruding megalithic looking configurations off the coast that may be remnants of a much older civilization.
Anyone else notice them???

Fine picture of twin engine airliner in flight over the salt ponds on the western edge of San Francisco Bay, near Newark, CA:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=n37.517,+w122.086&ie=UTF8&ll=37.517002,-122.086&spn=0.002821,0.006051&t=k&om=1
(or else just enter “n37.517, w122.086″ in Maps). Plane is distorted flying past the satellite 280 miles above, but someone could probably identify the type (you can count the windows). Or perhaps the airline too, there’s a logo on the side.
The twin lines below the plane on the ground are two pipelines in the Hetch Hetchy aqueduct, bringing water to San Francisco from the Sierra Nevada mountains.

I found a somewhat strange one just playing around with Google Earth. I screen capped this, but the location is just west of South Clinchfield, VA, in Russell County:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v725/DannyWho/Profile.gif
Kind of looks like a blonde woman’s profile, and under her face you can see a big black heart, and with some exaggerating, looks like she’s sitting in some very big and baggy jeans shorts. She is looking East and her jeans legs are pointing ESE, the right leg toward S. Clinchfield, and the left leg toward Clinchfield. I tried zooming up on this better, but cannot seem to get good resolution to determine the actual make-up of the apparent image.
