Update: For those interested, we have received confirmation that the Dynarox dumps were done using the same single EBOOT.PBP (which can be converted to a .PRX) to do the sector-based dumps as Paradox used. Basically here’s a little behind-the-scene “what happened”… the GODS @ PDX gave the WipeOut (USA) release guy their dumper to do the dump as being Euro-based they didn’t have access to any USA titles, and unfortunately he leaked it to a friend who (with or without his permission) did the other dumps under Dynarox to gain access to the benefits intended only for REAL sceners. On the bright side, chances are Dynarox will continue to do more dumps using the Paradox utility since they are located in the US. Some other interesting tidbits for those who didn’t already know… ALL the dumps are done using a RETAIL PSP (no DEV hardware is required) and the game “loader” will likely be in the form of a BiOS replacement which will work with ALL version PSP units… v1.00, v1.50, v1.51 so don’t worry there guys.

Why has this information been published here? We have been requested to post it by the real scene GODS to let the PSP community know what’s really going on. Of course we applaud Dynarox for sharing, however, it will now not go unnoticed just HOW they did these recent UMD dumps.

Man claims he can summon UFOs

“Beginning next week, spaceships will appear overLas Vegas,” summoned on-demand by a man who claims he’s in touch with an alien power. News 3’s Steve Crupi reports.

This sounds strangely reminiscent of “The Amazing Kreskin.” Thee years ago Kreskin got worldwide attention when he predicted that UFO’s would appear over Las Vegas . But no surprise, it turned out to be a publicity hoax. Now, we have a man who calls himself a prophet, predicting alien activity, and he swears this is no hoax.

From the driveway of his downtown apartment, Ramon Watkins is waiting for UFOs. “There are spaceships right now, parked around the planet.” On his web site, he goes by the name Prophet Yahweh and says the existence of extraterrestrial life will soon become obvious to everyone. “I know you guys are skeptical, and I don’t blame you man.” He has a computer filled with home videos that he claims prove his power to summon strange objects in the sky. And he says within the next 45 days something big is coming. “At least one of those days a gigantic spaceship is to set up over Las Vegas for a day and a half.”

Watkins tried to give us a demonstration of his abilities, but we watched and waited, and all we saw was an airplane.

“We tried, it’s a no-show.”

Watkins says the aliens won’t attack us the way they do in the movies, but he says their intentions are anything but friendly. “And they’re here, to take over, it’s just that simple.”

“Should people be taking shelter and running away from Las Vegas if the ships are coming?”

Kreskin got it wrong three years ago; Prophet Yahweh says stay tuned, he is on a mission to prove all skeptics wrong. Ramon Watkins says he will be discussing his UFO prediction at length when he appears as a guest on Coast-To-Coast, a radio talk show, Friday night.

WASHINGTON (AFP) – Angered by the growing number of Internet scams, online “vigilantes” have started to take justice into their own hands by hacking into suspected fraud sites and defacing them.
These hackers have targeted fake websites set up to resemble the sites of banks or financial institutions in recent weeks, and have inserted new pages or messages. Some say “Warning – This was a Scam Site,” or “This Bank Was Fraudulent and Is Now Removed.”
The efforts by the self-proclaimed “hero hackers” come amid a surge in online schemes known as “phishing” in which victims are lured to fake websites to get passwords or other personal data.

Wired News: Database Hackers Reveal Tactics

Three young hackers under investigation for unlawfully accessing personal information on thousands of people in a LexisNexis database have characterized their act as a cyberjoyride that got out of hand.

The hackers, ages 16, 19 and 20, spoke with Wired News by phone Monday and said that in January and February they accessed LexisNexis data — which included the Social Security number, birth date, home address and driver’s license number of numerous celebrities and hacker friends — to claim bragging rights, rather than to steal identities or sell the information to identity thieves, as some published reports have stated.
