is that the motion-sensitive controller? that’s pretty cool. i think it could use some custom airbrushing though….

Paint… thats a good idea… if only I had painting skills.
I haven’t been too up to date on the specifications of the wii, but if you remember back to that old video demonstrating the controller, they are motion sensitive. Which is suprising considering how little circuitry seems to be in there.

This nunchuck plugs into the “remote control” portion of the Wii controller. The part that looks like a television remote houses the motion sensing mechanism.

Glad to see we have come so far from not only the CD-I but also the N64 controllers… :/
Wonder if these Z buttons will last any longer than my friends 64 controllers did…

Come on, more pictures of the circuit board.
Although I suspect its just a 3d mems accelerometer and the wii does all the processing of its output.
